Rithvika Rajiv is a Senior Program Associate at Safetipin. Her work examines the intersection of gender and mobility, with a focus on creating inclusive, safe, accessible and affordable public transport systems. She believes that mobility is crucial to the economic growth and social inclusion of women.
Previously she worked at The Urban Catalysts, where she had multiple responsibilities including action oriented- data driven research, policy and data analysis, stakeholder engagement, project management, communication and outreach.
Her interest in gender sensitive planning was sparked from her own experience as a young woman navigating the public realm. This led her to pursue her masters in Urban Planning at NIT Calicut after completing her undergraduate degree in Architecture.
