About the Role
The Program Associate will be responsible for implementing and managing Safetipin’s Cities for youth projects in Rajasthan. CFY Program aims to ensure the meaningful inclusion of young people’s voices and experiences to create youth and gender-responsive cities. The role involves coordinating with partners, supervising field activities, ensuring data quality, preparing reports, and supporting advocacy and communication efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to gender equity and safe cities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation
- Lead execution of assigned projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Engage with community groups, youth, and women’s collectives to build local ownership and participation.
- Supervise field teams, data collection, and quality assurance.
Partnerships & Coordination
- Build and maintain partnerships with project partners, consultants, and vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, consultations, and training sessions with community and institutional stakeholders
- Represent Safetipin in meetings, workshops, and external forums.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Track project progress and document case studies, success stories, and learnings from field implementation.
- Support data analysis, reporting, and knowledge dissemination.
- Contribute to donor reports and communication materials.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, International Development, Public Policy, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in program or project management, preferably in the development or urban sector.
- Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, donors, or NGOs.
- Proven ability to lead field-based teams and partnerships
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; data or GIS knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills in English and Hindi.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation tools and community engagement frameworks.
Compensation
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, aligned with sector benchmarks.
